Today’s Mesa spotlight is Jaimee Partida. Jaimee is a eighth grader who enjoys her life at Mesa. In her classes, Spanish is one of Jaimee’s electives. She selected it since she grew up speaking Spanish, dance because she enjoys dancing, and avid because she knows it helps her in her schoolwork. She prefers Spanish as her favorite subject. She enjoyed her seventh grade year because she had fun meeting friends, and, in the end, Jaimee learned a lot. Jaimee used to play volleyball and soccer, but she is presently not in sports.
In her spare time, she enjoys playing games with her friends, and when she gets home from school, she likes to sleep and occasionally eat. Her favorite number is three, because she believes that the number three is usually lucky. Pink is her favorite color because, in her words, “Pink is better than all the rest of the colors.”
In conclusion, Jaimee enjoys a number of activities, along with spending time with friends and going to her classes. In addition, she also enjoys her lucky number three and really enjoys learning Spanish.
