Kaylee Figueroa is an 8th grade student in the Class of 2028 here at CMHS. Classmates describe her as funny, energetic, outgoing, and always ecstatic. She’s very focused when it comes to listening and writing because it helps her relax and express her feelings.

Something that helps her concentrate is listening to music while she’s working, and any music genre. But she likes Drake. She also feels her weakness is focusing; to fix this, she is going to try to be by herself, so there’s no distraction around her. Kaylee’s goal is for her “to learn how to play soccer and not lack in school.” 

Kaylee also says that when she’s older, she wants to attend Yale University because they have a good school community and good school academics. Next year she is going to CMHS and continues to be successful in life and school. 

A person who always motivates her is her grandma. Kaylee says she always pushes her to the max. and always tells her to keep going and never back down. Through the 2nd semester, she is increasing her grades and working extra harder to be able to promote and finish with a great GPA. 

In her free time, she works extra hard with practicing nails and doing them on other people, to soon be able to have her own business. She would like to tell people if they want to increase their grades, they should “Never give up and believe in yourself because you can make things happen if you put your mind to it.”
