Mrs. Morse, the art teacher at Costa Mesa High School/Middle School, taught Elements of Arts, Zentangles, and Alphatgraphy. She is starting to teach Ceramics and One-Point Perspective. Mrs. Morse has been teaching Art for 20 years, spread across being a sub, teacher, and a volunteer. Mrs. Morse stated,  “My inspiration for art came from my AP Art teacher when I was a kid, he was a really good artist.”

Mrs. Morse hopes that some of her students will continue to create art full time the same way that she did. She is currently teaching ceramics, a 3D art. This differs from her past of 2D art. For Art class, Mrs. Morse has 5 different periods. She feels that the environment in her classes are like an art studio. The environment feels cozy. There are many passionate students willing to pursue their creative side. Mrs. Morse believes that her students will learn the fundamentals of art to find their preferred type of art.

Mrs. Morse believes that students can connect with others and communicate through their artwork. She loves art and hopes to share it with as many students as she can. She hopes that more students enter her art class; so she can teach more people about the importance of art.
